MC Noname emerged out of the jungles of Congo with music in his veins. Homeless, he travelled from Congo to South Africa, and then to Brazil, Uruguay and now Argentina. His journey sparked the furious force of his rhymes which speak about the condition of humanity. He produces his own beats which combine the Lingala music of Congo with complex African polyrhythms, sultry Brazilian samba, and gritty American soul music.

Exodus. This is a story about a young man from the Heart of Darkness. A young man who one day left his home deep in the jungle of Congo. He had nothing. No passport, no money... No Name............... As his people descended into a downward spiral of senseless crime and murder, he walked until he reached Uganda. There, he met others in search of their purpose. But they were too busy with their own struggle, and could not help him, and so he walked. From Kampala to Kenya, from Arusha to Harare to Maputo to Cape Town. He with no shoes,walked. And, having reached the end of the continent, he still hadn't found his purpose. So he gave his feet a rest and flew to Brazil. There, he toiled in the slums, and soon linked up with MCs and producers who recognized his talent that was borne of the struggle. It didn't matter to them that English was his fourth language, or that Portuguese was his sixth. They pushed him to put pen to paper. And there, in the most dangerous and destitute of places, he found his purpose............... Today, MC Noname is an established MC/Producer with at least 20 songs to his credit.
